Miltos Xynogalas
Executive Chairman

Miltos is a geoscientist with over 27 years of experience in the upstream industry. He worked with Premier Oil in Indonesia and Shell in Malaysia and Nigeria. In 2008 he joined Transworld as its Exploration Manager in Indonesia while he was also leading the company’s global upstream activities.

Miltos founded Conrad Petroleum in 2011 after identifying and securing the company’s permits in Indonesia. He has strong experience in managing all exploration aspects of licenses and liaising with Governments for work program planning and execution.  At a technical level his expertise is in prospect generation and the subsequent prospect de-risking.

He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Athens, majoring in Geology as well as a Master’s of Science from the University of Leeds in Exploration Geophysics.

Justin Pettett
Managing Director

Justin has over 17 years of experience in senior board positions in private and publicly listed upstream oil and gas companies.  He has strong expertise in opportunity evaluation, deal negotiation, structuring and the ability to drive teams to execute and complete major transactions. He has extensive capital raising skills and an ability to clearly explain business plans and strategy to all stakeholders along with a strong interface with financial markets and the stock broking community.

He is an associate member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is also the Chief Executive Officer of Conrad. Further details on Justin's background can be found on the Management Team page. 

Jeremy Brest
Non-Executive Director

Jeremy is a seasoned finance executive who has worked in the industry for over 20 years. Starting his career with Goldman Sachs in New York, Mr Brest arrived in Asia in 1997. He joined Credit Suisse in Singapore in 2001. Both at Credit Suisse, and since founding boutique advisory Framework Capital Solutions in 2005, he has focused on private transactions in Southeast Asia with a particular focus on Indonesia. 

Mr Brest holds an AB in mathematics (with Distinction) from Swarthmore College, and a JD/MBA from Stanford University. 

David Johnson
Non-Executive Director

David is a skilled leader with 35 years of experience in international oil and gas exploration, development, production and business development. He is a self-motivated achiever with good analytical, commercial and organisational skills. David has extensive oil and gas experience in Australia, Asia-Pacific and in Middle East with a career spanning the supermajors BP and Shell in addition to Woodside and Mubadala Petroleum.  His diverse range of experience includes business management and development at exploration, development and production levels.  

Most recently, David was the President of Mubadala Petroleum in Thailand.  David brings a wealth of technical skills and commercial knowledge and experience to the Conrad Petroleum Team. David is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Adrian Loh
Non-Executive Director

Adrian is a highly experienced finance industry professional who has operated for nearly 20 years in both the buy and sell-side of the capital markets, specialising in the energy industry. He started off working in the oil tanker shipping industry, then followed by a distinguished career in both the global primary and secondary equity markets at Merrill Lynch, DnB NOR and Daiwa Capital Markets. Key highlights were at Merrill Lynch where he was involved in the IPOs of major Asian energy firms such as CNOOC Ltd, China Oilfield Services Ltd, PTT plc, Thai Oil plc, Rayong Refining plc, and Cairn India Ltd amongst others, and while at Daiwa, he was Head of Research for Singapore, and its Asia-Pacific Head of Oil and Gas.

He has a Bachelor of Arts/Commerce from Monash University, majoring in Politics, History and Economics as well as an MBA, also from Monash University.
